  • ¼ cup Christmas sprinkles plus more for garnish
  • 10 ounce bag Christmas M&M's

  • Place the rice Chex cereal in a large bowl.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the chocolate chips and peanut butter. Microwave the chocolate mixture for 30 second intervals until melted; stir until smooth.
  • Pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal and use a spatula to gently toss the cereal in the chocolate until completely coated. Add the sprinkles and stir again.
  • Place the powdered sugar inside a resealable gallon sized plastic bag. Add the chocolate coated cereal. Seal, then shake until cereal is coated in the sugar.
  • Spread the cereal out in a single layer on a sheet of parchment paper; cool completely until dry.
  • Combine the cereal and M&M's. Garnish with additional sprnikles if desired, then serve.

Notes

  1. Before stirring in chocolate candies, make sure to cool the cereal to room temperature. You don't want any of the candy getting soft or melting.
  2. Make sure your bag is sealed before you shake it!
  3. Christmas puppy chow will stay fresh in an airtight container for up to one week.
