Raspberry Lemonade
This raspberry lemonade is a refreshing blend of raspberries, lemon juice, sugar and water. The perfect beverage for a hot day!

- 2 cups fresh raspberries
- 7 cups water divided use
- 1⅓ cups granulated sugar
- 2 cups fresh squeezed lemon juice
- raspberries, lemons and mint sprigs for garnish optional
Combine the sugar with 2 cups of water.
Microwave for 2 minutes or heat on the stove until very hot. Stir until sugar is dissolved to make a syrup.
Place the raspberries in a blender with 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
Put the mixture through a strainer.
Combine the raspberry puree, sugar syrup mixture, lemon juice and remaining 4 cups of water in a pitcher.
Stir thoroughly then chill until ready to serve.
Just before serving, stir in sliced raspberries, lemon and mint sprigs if desired.
- Fresh raspberries work best in this recipe. You can use frozen raspberries if that's what you have on hand, but you may need to add more sugar.
- Raspberry lemonade will stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
